Steyr STA LX Tractor Unit "Wasser=Natur+Menschenrecht"

In May 2007, Herpa expanded the 'Silo-Melmer' collection series with the model of the silo semi-trailer truck 'Wasser=Natur+Menschenrecht' (Water=Nature+Human Rights). The silo semi-trailer was paired with a MAN TGA featuring an LX cab – unfortunately not accurate to the original, as the semi-trailer was actually pulled by a Steyr STA with an LX cab.

Herpa made this compromise due to the lack of a suitable cab. Since I had previously converted a MAN TGA LX cab into a Steyr STA LX cab, I had a matching resin cab available, which kept the effort for the conversion manageable.

After painting the cab in the correct color, the appropriate decals were created and applied.
