Steyr STA XLX silo semi-trailer "Knappenwelt"

The shipping company was founded as Autofrächterei by the brothers Alois, Johann and Erwin Melmer in 1947 in Wiese in the Austrian Pitztal. Today, 33 silo semitrailers are available for the 40+ employees. Chief executive Rupert Melmer is seeing to it that all trucks have a special look. That’s why numerous showtrucks are in the fleet like this Supertruck with the name Knappenwelt. The model is offered in the regular Herpa-Europe-series and is not one of the Truck-Highlights in a Private Collection showcase but this very detailed imprinted model certainly doesn’t look less.
