Museum Car Set 2007 'Strassacker

This item is the Märklin Museum Car 2007 titled 'Strassacker'.

The set consists of a heavy-duty flat car of the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) type SSym 46, a MAN 450 short-nose truck as a special vehicle of the Strassacker foundry, and a metal replica of Michelangelo's statue 'David'.

The flat car features removable stakes and has a length over buffers of 15.2 cm. The truck model is mostly made of metal with parts made of wood and plastic, painted in multiple colors for the 'Strassacker Foundry Süssen'. The statue is 85 mm tall and is housed in a suitable transport frame.

This set was produced in 2007 as an exclusive museum car by Märklin and is now a highly sought-after collector's item.
