on/off and off-highway-tires

In 2011, Gerhard Müller designed a CNC-milled kit of the Peerless Logging B-Train Trailers in 1:24 scale based on the original documents from the company Peerless (construction report). The only thing missing for the final touch was the appropriate tires - called on/off-highway and off-highway tires.

Gerhard knew about my Super Singel tire with spray protection rip and asked if I would make these on/off-highway and off-highway tires for him. He had already prepared the suitable master models that I was supposed to turn into "rubber tires."   

Of course, I wanted to make these tires. I had already gained the know-how from my first tire project, the Super Singel tire with spray protection rip. The two tire types provided by Gerhard differed only in tread design and were precisely adapted to the standard Italeri kit rims. So, I "just" had to build the corresponding molds. Once the tires were installed on the Peerless Logging B-Train Trailer, the on/off-highway and off-highway tires project was successfully completed.

Both tire types have since been produced in small series and are available in my online shop.
